An Observation

       USED

It’s what she is

(after you)

It’s what you did

It’s what you do

and I don’t think you’ll ever hear this

(but you should)

You weren’t everything to her

(she is more)

She is more than you could handle

She’s worth much more than rusted metal

on a car sales floor

(She’s brand new)

           USED

It’s what you wanted her to be

It’s what you did and how you see

It’s what you needed her to do

hoping somehow she will make you more complete

But this is you

and you will continue to

use and use and use
