These are my thoughts and feelings released through sentence, poem, prose, and verse.
Words have always played an important role in my life. I discovered poetry at a young age and immediately fell head over heels. Through the years, I have written my way through blessings, life changes, chronic disease, depression, and the deaths of loved ones. But for me, writing is more than a cathartic release. Writing is how I process the world. Aside from breathing, I don’t know how to do anything else as naturally as writing.
